THE CONFIDENCE LAB

Your business may be ready for greater visibility, but are you?

A four-week, in-person workshop series for women in business who recognise that their next stage of growth will require them to show up differently.

Give people the opportunity to know your work, and you.

You have something valuable to offer, and you want your business to grow. You recognise that this means putting yourself forward: speaking about your work, sharing your ideas and giving potential clients opportunities to get to know you.

Trust and authenticity are central to the relationships you want to build. Being visible gives people an opportunity to hear your perspective, understand your approach and decide whether your work is right for them.

Yet knowing you need to show up doesn’t always make it comfortable. Perhaps you hesitate to record yourself, overthink how to introduce your business or keep postponing something you want to share.

The Confidence Lab gives you dedicated time and a supportive group in which to practise communicating in a way that feels natural, honest and true to you.

Build confidence through participation

Across four workshops, we’ll explore communication and presence, practise speaking about ourselves and our work, and become more familiar with being seen and heard, including on camera.

Through play, conversation and practical activities, you’ll have opportunities to find your words, receive thoughtful feedback and try again. We’ll briefly acknowledge what makes showing up difficult and introduce a gentle breath practice you can draw on before speaking.

Whether you want to promote your services, introduce a workshop, teach online or speak more confidently about what you offer, you can bring that intention into your practice.

You’ll use whatever you already have. The focus is on communicating your work and developing a way of showing up that you feel comfortable continuing.

A familiar group. Encouragement to keep going.

You’ll return to the same women each week, with time to build rapport, learn about one another’s businesses and recognise each other’s strengths.

There will be laughter, shared practice and accountability, alongside opportunities to give and receive encouragement. You’ll have room to experiment, notice your progress and take manageable steps between sessions.

You choose what you share publicly. The workshops provide a place to practise with others before taking your next step.

Why I created The Confidence Lab

Visibility has been one of the hardest parts of running my own business, particularly finding a way to communicate that feels true to who I am and represents my work clearly.

I remember people asking where the studio was and what I offered. Something so familiar to me was still unfamiliar to people who might have been interested. I couldn’t assume they knew I was there or understood what was available.

Looking back, I feel my hesitation around visibility contributed to my business not growing in the way I had hoped. I cared deeply about my work, but I needed to give people more opportunities to get to know me and understand it.

That experience is part of why I’m creating The Confidence Lab as Studio Avasa begins its next chapter as a creative business hub for women.

Drawing on my experience as a Kundalini Yoga teacher and business owner, I’ll facilitate a space where women can practise putting their work forward with structure, encouragement and support.
